I was getting requests for fairy art from people online and attending my markets.. so I decided to create a Coromandel based fairy inspired by the pūriri moth! The most beautiful moth I have ever seen! The pūriri moth or pepetuna which tend to in habit pūriri trees, used to be commonly known as spiritual messengers or as the ghost of an ancestor returning to visit their descendants.
